A Unique Approach
Metals That Perform
Our portfolio companies recycle high-performance metals, called superalloys, which consist of critical metals used in aerospace, defense, power generation, renewable energy, technology and electronics industries. Mining of these superalloys is concentrated in a few specific geographies primarily in Africa and Asia. A recycled alternative in the West allows American companies to purchase critical raw materials domestically while reducing costs, lowering GHG emissions, and taking greater control of their supply chain.
FAQ
-
Critical metals are essential raw materials used in aerospace, defense, medical, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing. They are considered “critical” because they have few substitutes, are vital to national security and economic competitiveness, and face supply chain vulnerabilities—often concentrated in geopolitically sensitive regions. By recycling these metals from end-of-life products and industrial scrap, EverMetal helps reduce reliance on imports and builds a more resilient U.S. supply chain.
-
EverMetal’s focus is on the suite of superalloys and pure metals that underpin high-performance applications. This includes nickel, cobalt, tungsten, tantalum, rhenium, hafnium, titanium, and niobium, among others. These metals are critical in jet engines, medical implants, satellites, and other advanced technologies where strength, temperature resistance, and reliability are paramount.

Mining will remain an important part of the global metals supply chain, but it is capital-intensive, environmentally disruptive, and slow to scale. Recycling, by contrast, is faster, cleaner, and more cost-effective—it recovers metals already in circulation, reduces waste, and significantly lowers carbon emissions. By building a platform of specialized recycling companies, EverMetal is positioning itself at the forefront of a more sustainable, technology-driven alternative to mining.
